D F SWAGGER

The African American Museum traveling show visited Delaware Futures on February 26, 2009.
The AAM was represented by the CoDa Program a youth music program that provides music workshops and educational services that empower children. This particular workshop was called Hip-Hop Jazz Musicology. The Purpose of the workshop is to have the students learn the social and historical influences on Hip - Hop and how it relates to other genres of music within African-American musical traditions. The workshop was interactive and very hands on for the students.

The students with the help of CoDa members produced a short hip-hop tune
